Proposal

Power Point

I have done many slides and in those slides I have selected many pictures to fit the lyrcis in the song. All of the power point presentations are meaningful and are seem better or better understanding when you include your own pictures. My favorite presentation would have to bee What's Going On, by Marvin Gaye. The lyrics to the song mean alot to me. The topics he discusses are so relative to the situations that were happening then and are still happening today. There are tree slides that i frrl are really good. They relate to the lyrics well.these Slides will be presented on the powerpoint presentation.

Blogs

There are lots of things that are done, and there things that can make what ever your doing easier. Blogs are one of those things. blogs are a brillant idea and the fact that we are using then to display our assignments makes me feel like i am i a really good school that knows alot of things that can make learning funner and based around technolgy more. At traditional schools blogs are probably not even mentioned. most schools blackboards, chalk, notebooks and pens are used to complete work. By using blogs you are saving paper and expanding your mind and adding to your personal resume.

DIGITAL PRODUCTION

Digital production class were very different in a good way. Before digital production cass i was not very comfortable with speakin in front of the class but this helped. Not can I perform I front of a audience i can see how i peformed when we see it on the TV. When I see it infront of the TV i can tell what i need to fix about myself so that the next time I present i will give a better and better performance. Also i learded alot about cameras and video cameras. I never knew light was that much of a differnece. when i ws up there the light was very bright, I thought that they were not all needed, but whwn you compare the two, the light helped alot.

Get Rich or Die Trying

I think that the billborad should not be allowed.The whole billboard is not the problen it is the fact that he is holding a gun in one of his hands. I'm not on where the billboard is placed, but there is a school right next to the building and a mall and other atractions where kids and teenagers hang out. When kids see the billboard they see someone that they look up to and want to be like and with the gun in his hands it's persuading them to do the same. So, overall I think that takeing them down was the right thing to do.

Marvin Gaye

Marvin Pentz Gay Jr., was born on the April 2, 1939 in Washington, D.C. He was named after his father who was a a minister in the Apostolic Church. His influence came early from always being in church during the 70’s. Marvin quit the church choir in 1957, and joined the Marquees. In 1961, he got married to Anna Gordy, and was offered a solo recording contract. In 1962 he received deal to do R & B. He made his first hit single called 'Stubborn Kind Of Fellow', a top 10 R & B hit. 'What's Going On” became a number 1 hit in 1971. Drug problems and tax demands interfered with his career in 1978 he left the US and moved to Hawaii in an attempt to work out his second marriage. He returned to the U.S and became very depressed and he started to abuse drugs. On April 1st 1984, another violent disagreement caused Marvin Gay Sr. to shoot his son dead, an awful end to the his life.

Nikki Giovanni

Nikki Giovanni
She was born June 7, 1943 Knoxville, Tennessee. Her original name is Yolande Cornelia Giovanni Jr. She studied at Fist University in Nashville. In 1967 she received her degree in arts. She gave birth to her only child in 1969. She named her only child Thomas Watson Giovanni. She's an African American poet. She has published over 2 dozen books of poetry and children's books. She was also apart of the Civil Rights Movement and wrote poems like Black Feeling, Black Talk and Black Judgment. She currently teaches at Virginia Tech

- Morals are important in the communities because it is a positive way to express yourself instead of illegally doing doing Graffitti.

4. What's the most compelling mural you've ever seen? Describe the mural.
- The most compelling mural I have ever saw was the mural called Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. It is painted by Jane Golden and a couple of other young graffittiest. It’s children all putting there hands together on top of each other. To me it seems like it represent’s peace and helps people to come together.

5. Why don't residents "tag" murals?
- Tag means when a person or a group of people tag a wall. Its when they write their names or do graffitti on a wall.

A Mac Machine is a stumbling block used for being able to switch between running application with the Alt – Tab Keystroke and a Windows Machine is used for protecting computers from viruses on firewall options but the Mac Machine and the Windows Machine have the same operation systems on the computer.

4.What is a word processor and why is it important?
Microsoft Word and it is used for typing documents and its important because it wouldn’t be typing a report or document without a word processor known as Microsoft Word.

Quicktime, Network Neighbor, Microsoft Excel, Finalcut Pro,
and Microsoft Powerpoint.

6.What is a powerpoint?
A powerpoint is a slideshow program for creating video clips, slideshows, and for developing projects.

Document Files, Document Files Extension, and Document Savers but the Document Files are used for storing files such as reports, Document Files Extension are used for storing tons and tons of documentary files/reports and Document Savers are also used for saving file types, reports, information, and documentaries.

A MP3 Files are music file types that stores up to thousands of music types and downloads music files.

The internet is a worldwide source of information used for web searching, downloading, and looking up tons and tons of information.

A scanner is and used as a copier and an copy machine but you can operate the scanner for copying use only.

A CD is used for storing music such as rap, pop, metal rock, disco, old school raps and stores 4070 bytes, a DVD is used for looking at movies, music videos, and stores 4700 bytes, a Floppy Disk is for storing documents, reports, music lyrics but not downloading music, and a Flash Drive is used for storing up to 128 Megabytes, having a solid – state flash memory, and 12 inches wide.

He is the creator/producer of "The Booddocks" comics.

When someone is conscious the pay atention to only or mosly one race, in a bad or a good way .

McGruder is considered that way because he is just a ordinary man who has a comicstrip and a cartoon and in those comics and cartoons he expresses his true feelings about real life situations through his characters in his artwork. There are alot of people who disagree with his artwork and want him and his comics destroyed and though he is getting awards for his work people still persuade newspapers to stop publishing his work and overall destroy his work.

His strip is about a Grandfather and his two grandchildern who move from a black and into a white neighborhood. The move was a big change in their life as they try to adapt to their new (white) neighborhood.

Mcgruder speaks through childern because childern are more open and are more likely to say and ask the questions they ask. Alot of what they say has something todo with white people and what better way to express it , than a young black kid put into a whole new lifestyle.
